It features WP’s proprietary special abrasive grains bonded with a phenolic resin binder, with both the abrasive surface and the backing fabric finished in green; pink or purple abrasive surfaces are also available upon request. The backing is made of a highly flexible X‑weave polyester‑cotton blend, and the finished roll has a width of 1,470 mm.
2. The fabric exhibits stable mechanical properties, with warp and weft tensile strengths of 1800–2000 N/50 mm and 600–800 N/50 mm, respectively. It demonstrates excellent resistance to bending and tearing, making it suitable for the entire processing flow, including slat cutting, sheet pressing, and high‑temperature curing. After baking, neither the front nor the back surface shows discoloration or color loss. The product is available in a particle size range from P36 to P400, covering both coarse and fine grades, and can accommodate multiple processing steps, from rough grinding to precision polishing.
3. According to empirical testing and comparative analysis, this product exhibits 15% improved sharpness and wear resistance compared to the WM001S, with reduced grinding loss. It boasts broad application versatility, suitable for grinding and polishing ferrous materials, common metals, and stainless steels that do not require electroplating. It can effectively deburr workpieces, refine weld seams, perform rough grinding of surface oxide layers, and remove metal rust. Additionally, it efficiently addresses edge burrs generated during the cutting of various non-metallic materials. Notably, it delivers outstanding performance when working with A3 steel and 304 stainless steel.
